Two open innovation processes to identify initiatives for improving public transportation in Cuenca

 
 

At the end of 2018, as part of CEDIA, I was in charge of the operations management of a consultancy with the German Technical Cooperation that consisted of developing open innovation spaces for multiple stakeholders and citizens of Cuenca, Ecuador. 

The objective was to identify ideas that had the potential to solve problems of public transportation and mobility in the city of Cuenca. This event showed that it was possible to bring together the academy, the public sector, the private sector, and entrepreneurs so that together, they can improve people’s lives.

There were two products that this consultancy created. First, a challenge for enterprises and research groups:
